First of all you should have explained what “remarketing” is. After looking it up it seems to be one more intrusive Google feature for stalking people. Some people may like it and apparently there are enough that don’t object.

All that said, I think your story telling idea is fantastic. Only problem is that I can’t see your ad samples, probably because I have AdBlock turned on.

Ad block shouldn’t stop you from seeing the examples because they are just images, not ads. You may have to view it as a single page or go to page 2 to see the examples.

      Thanks for the comment!

This is a very interesting story Tyler. And timely for us here at AllBusiness who are in the beginning progress of trying out remarketing for this site. I definitely want to try out something along these lines to see what the results will be. Do you think this could work well for this site to bring readers back?

    • http://www.adficient.com Tyler Thomas

Remarketing would be a great way to bring readers back to the site for two main reasons.

      #1 It’s very inexpensive
#2 You are targeting visitors that have already shown interest in the site content

In your specific situation we could even look at pulling new articles into the banner creative on a daily basis (possibly based on the categories the user visited). This way your banners would constantly have new, fresh and relevant content for the user.
